COVID-19 Testing Clinic

Brea Olinda Unified School District has partnered with Living Fit Nation (LFN) to bring a convenient COVID-19 Testing Clinic to our district.  This service began on Wednesday, February 10th, and starting on March 31st it will be available every other Wednesday through June 30, 2021, or until guidelines are adjusted by the California COVID-19 Testing Task Force.  LNF will staff personnel to aid in registration and intake, along with qualified technicians to administer the PCR nasal swab test.  The Testing Clinic is located at Brea Olinda High School’s lower student parking lot in front of the gym, located at 789 Wildcat Way, Brea 92821.

The Testing Clinic will operate every other Wednesday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm for all BOUSD employees, students and related dependents. If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you to the appointment. This is being offered at no-cost as the US Department of Health and Human Services has mandated that all insured essential employees, staff and dependents have zero cost for PCR COVID-19 testing, including all copays and deductibles. Individuals without insurance or who are under-insured are also able to test at no-cost as mandated under The Families First Coronavirus Response Act, ensuring that COVID-19 testing is free to anyone in the U.S.

It is our desire to offer PCR nasal-swab COVID-19 testing in a convenient environment for our school district’s students, staff and their dependents.  Depending on demand, you should expect the process to take approximately 15-20 minutes with results received within 48 hours.  As this process is new to BOUSD, we ask for your patience and understanding as we adjust to the many challenges thrust upon us as a result of the COVID-19 health crises.
