BOUSD's Office of Communications fosters relationships that build understanding and support for our public schools by facilitating transparent, two-way communication. We do this by sharing the District’s story with our students, staff, families, and community, and by building partnerships that maintain and enhance resources that support student achievement.

News Stories & Photo Submissions: [email protected]

The Brea Olinda Unified School District is committed to providing our community with the latest news and information related to our schools and district. To make this as convenient as possible, we have created many platforms for the community to receive information. If you need assistance or any additional information, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you. Parents and community members are welcome to submit photos and stories about BOUSD programs, students, staff, and achievements to [email protected]

Public Relations and Media Relations
Our office serves as a liaison to the news media and the general public so that we can keep our community informed of our successes and up-to-date during emergencies and crises.

Community Engagement
Our valuable relationships with leaders throughout our school communities - from business to nonprofits to government to faith-based organizations - provide resources for our schools and support student achievement.

Strategic Communication and Marketing
Our schools create myriad opportunities and personalized pathways for individual students to meet their full potential and succeed in the 21st century. We help schools inform families of the excellent educational choices in BOUSD and identify opportunities for involvement.
