Reopening of Schools Committee & CDPH Guiding Documents

Reopening of School Committee
The Reopening of Schools Committee under the direction and guidance of the Board, Assistant Superintendent Kerrie Torres, and other district leadership, was created to plan for the safe reopening of schools for the 2020-21 school year. The Committee is made up of various stakeholders including teachers, parents, staff, association representatives, administrators, and more from around the district. This committee will take into consideration all guidelines set by state and local agencies including the CA Department of Public Health and Orange County Department of Education.

With online teaching in place for now, the committee will provide guidance to all staff and will work diligently in enhancing curriculum in comparison to the emergency distance learning that we were required to implement unexpectedly in spring.
