Dear BOUSD Community,
It’s hard to believe that another school year has come and gone. It seems like only yesterday that we were welcoming students back to school. But alas, it is not the first week of school, and the 2018-19 school year is now officially in our rear view mirror.
From the Boardroom to the classroom, the work of BOUSD can be summed up by the endless pursuit of preparing all students for success.I would like to take a moment to thank our families, students, staff, and community partners for another wonderful and productive school year. On behalf of the Board of Education, I can’t thank our community enough for your endless hours of volunteering, chaperoning, reading, organizing, donating and doing whatever was necessary to support students—both at home and at school.
I love that Brea is a community that continues to go above and beyond for our schools and our students. We are partners in the success of our students and are committed to bringing excellence to their educational experiences through improved program offerings and addressing the facility needs that are lacking in our district. We have work we need to do for the benefit of our students and we can’t do it without the support of our “village.”
Thank you again for the ongoing support for our schools and students. Have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing many of you back on our campuses in mid August.
Brad Mason, Ed.D.
