Student Health Services

Health Services at BOUSD is staffed by three registered nurses with a school nurse service credential and eight full-time health office assistants. Our goal is to keep your children as healthy and safe as possible. If your child has a special health care need please contact the school nurse. Contact information is provided on this page.

No medications including over the counter medications are allowed at school without proper documentation.

State mandated screenings are as follows:

Vision screenings and hearing screenings are done at grades TK/ Kindergarten, 2nd, 5th, 8th and 10th.

If your child is ill please do not send them to school. If you test positive for COVID-19, additional guidelines will need to be followed in accordance with the CDC and Orange County Public Health Department and CHDP guidelines.
