Welcome Community Partners and Employers!

"There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about."
-Margaret J. Wheatly

Brea Olinda Unified School District welcomes community involvement in our schools. The time, commitment, resources, and feedback we receive from our partners is greatly valued.  The Career Technical Education department engages with partners and employers to develop work based learning opportunities for our students. These opportunities include guest speaking engagements, job shadowing opportunities, mentoring, internships, and connecting our students with employment and work permits. If you would like to support the students of Brea Olinda Unified please reach out to our Career Counseling Coordinator, Brandi Augenstein at [email protected]

BOHS Students intern at local laboratory
Each year BOUSD prepares students to enter the workforce through carefully selected and curated career pathways. Many of our students earn certifications and build skills similar to those of first year employees. As a part of our career education program our students are encouraged to apply these skills in a real world context through internship. If your business is open to hosting a BOUSD high school intern please reach out to our Career Counseling Coordinator, Brandi Augenstein at [email protected]
