Save the Date - Parenting in a Digital World Parent Education Night

Save the Date! Brea Olinda Unified School District is excited to bring Brea families another parent night on a very important topic: "How to Parent in a Digital World." The parent night will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Brea Junior High. Additional information can be found on the attached flyer.

BOUSD 2019 Friends of Education Award Recipients

At the Monday, October 28th Board meeting, the Board of Education presented the Leonard MacKain Friend of Education Award to Mr. Rod Todd for his over 20 years of dedication and support of the students and programs of BOUSD and Mr. Rick Finnie Owner of M.R. Mold and Engineering, for his time, talent, treasure and generous support of Brea schools and our students.

Held during the third full week of October each year, National School Bus Safety Week is an active and evolving public education program and an excellent way for parents, students, teachers, motorists, school bus operators, school administrators, and other interested parties - to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. 4th Annual BOUSD State of the Schools Breakfast - Presentation

On Thursday, the Brea Education Foundation, in partnership with the district,hosted the 4th annual State of the Schools Breakfast. The District welcomed more than 200 attendees from throughout the Brea community representing the district’s nine schools, staff, parent leaders, state and local elected officials, business and Brea community members. Highlights from the breakfast included performances by the combined BOUSD orchestra as well as a special rendition of “A Million Dreams” by the Olinda Elementary School Choir.
