Student Health Services

Health Services at BOUSD is staffed by 2  Registered Nurses with a School Nurse Service Credential and  8 full-time health office assistants.  Our goal is to keep your children as healthy and safe as possible. If your child has a special health care need please contact the school nurse. Contact information is below.

No medications including over the counter medications are allowed at school without proper documentation.

Please Note: BOUSD may determine that an unvaccinated student who cannot isolate from an outside of school exposure be required to isolate at the discretion of BOUSD administration.
State mandated screenings are as follows:
  • Vision screenings and hearing screenings are done at grades  TK/ Kindergarten, 2nd, 5th, 8th and 10th.
If your child is ill please do not send them to school.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, additional guidelines will be followed in accordance with the CDC and Orange County Public Health Department and CHDP guidelines.
