Natalie Johnson was appointed to the Board of Education on April 20, 2026 and is committed to supporting students, families, and the broader school community. As a parent of two children in the district, she brings a personal connection to the educational experience and a strong dedication to student success.
 
Natalie has lived in Brea since 2019 and is an active member of the community. She has served on the School Site Council at Laurel Elementary, volunteers frequently at school events, and participates in community functions throughout Brea.
 
With over a decade of experience in education, Natalie works in an educational leadership role supporting special education programs, mentoring staff, and contributing to program development and implementation. Her background includes experience as both an education facilitator and classroom teacher, with a focus on personalized learning and student-centered instruction. She has also supported educational leaders, facilitated professional development, and coached teams across multiple sites.
 
Natalie works toward a collaborative leadership style. As a trustee, her goal is to serve students, staff, and the community by partnering with families, supporting educators, and making thoughtful decisions that prioritize the success and well being of all. She holds a master's degree in Elementary Education from Biola University.
 
Natalie shares a passion for education with her husband, who is a dedicated school principal with an accomplished career in education. Together they are raising their two girls with a strong emphasis on learning, community involvement, and the value of public education.
