A special thank you to Brea Olinda High School student Max Oprea for his moving performance of “Taps,” which brought a meaningful and heartfelt moment to the ceremony.

Shoutout to one of our incredible BOUSD GATE students, Logan T, who took 1st place at the National Civics Bee Regionals held at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum on April 30! 🏆🇺🇸

The National Civics Bee, hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is a nationwide competition that encourages middle school students to deepen their understanding of civics, engage in thoughtful discussions about real-world issues, and share ideas for making a positive impact in their communities.

We’re especially excited to share that Logan will be moving on to the state competition this summer - an incredible accomplishment! We’re so proud of Logan’s dedication to civic learning and leadership. 👏
